Also, all the chat settings can be configured at the event backend path: Event Settings -> Chat Settings.
There might be cases when the booth admins are not able to:
- add tags,
- add notes,
- rate an attendee,
- block an attendee
Don't worry, you can handle it all in just a few clicks 🙂 Just go to the same Chat Settings page, and enable the following options (see the image below).
How to enable v3 | embedded chat?
To enable this new chat feature, please go to Event Settings -> Chat Settings, and enable the options shown in the image below. You can also choose if you want to open the chat widget on the right side of the event page or the left side of it.
- The position of the embedded chat toggle can be changed to left or right via chat settings on the backend.
- If embedded chat is enabled, the booth users online section on the booth is enabled automatically. If clicked on it, it will take to the private message with that user in the embedded chat . You can get this section removed from the design team upon requesting your project manager.
- Top bar color or toggle color of embed chat can be changed. Please contact your Project Manager for this.
