vFairs provides you with a feature of "Reserve a Chat Slot" if you want the attendees to reserve a specific chat slot to talk to a booth representative regarding their concerns and queries.
To enable the booking of the chat slots, please follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Log in to the event backend platform.
2. Go to Event Settings -> Chat Settings -> enable the option of Enable reserve chatslots?
The image shared below demonstrates the Reserve a Chat Slot popup window that opens upon clicking the Reserve a Chat Slot tab on the booth navigation bar.
Once you have enabled this option, you can also configure the chat slot duration from that backend.
Chat slot booking widget
There is also an option to enable the chat slot booking widget. Enabling this feature will display the notification on the Chat Bookings pop-up window whenever an attendee reserves a chat slot with a booth representative (refer to the image below). Also, if the option to accept/reject a chat slot booking request is enabled, then a booth rep can accept or reject an attendee’s chat invite on the same Chat Bookings pop-up window.
The Chat Bookings popup window appears on the event home screen as demonstrated in the image below.
Chat Confirmation Email
Whenever an attendee books a chat slot with a booth admin/rep, a booking slot confirmation email is received by the booth admin/rep at the email id that is registered in the system.
