To enable a chatroom for an event, go to Event Settings -> Chat Settings and enable the option of Enable New Chat.
To enable the booth chatroom tab, go to the Booths -> Booth Listing -> click on the Navigation Buttons icon against the desired booth -> checkmark the option of the Chat under the Booth Features.
Enabling the Chat option will display the booth chat tab on the booth navigation bar on the frontend. It is the vFairs default chatroom that is created for every booth.
When an event is over, it is recommended to disable the chat so that it is no longer available for the attendees to send/receive messages.
Note: If you don’t want to use the vFairs default booth chatroom, you can keep it disabled from the backend, and use the External Link Type option to redirect the users to an external chat platform. The External Link Type option can be accessed by clicking the Navigation Buttons (hamburger) icon against the booth name on the Booth Listing screen.
