Invite attendees to an external meeting link
If being an exhibitor/booth admin, you do not want to use the vFairs default audio/video calling platform, and you wish to use some external audio/video calling platform to which you can redirect the attendees for an audio/video call, then this is absolutely achievable by using the vFairs booth setup form.
To do so, you have to get the option of "Meeting Link" enabled from the backend upon request from the vFairs team or the event organizer. This option will appear on the Add User form that appears while creating a booth representative account using a booth setup form.
But how that link will be available to the attendees/booth visitors? Well, that link can be shared through email with the attendees, and you just have to make sure that your event organizer is adding the meeting link in the chat emails that are auto-sent to the attendees.
Note: Please note that only Whereby link can be shared via email for audio/video calling. This can be done upon submitting a request to the vFairs team.
Note: The limit of Whereby account is 50 users out of which only 12 users/attendees can share a video at a time.
Restriction for attendees on audio/video call
Attendees can be restricted to start an audio/video call in the following cases:
- With other attendees: In a private chat with each other, attendees can be restricted to have an audio/video call with each other.
- With booth reps: In a private chat with a booth rep, attendees can be restricted to initiate an audio/video call with a booth rep.
The above-mentioned restrictions can be configured from the event backend platform upon submitting a request to your event organizer or vFairs team.
